Frequently Asked Questions for Ritto Konan Law Office
Here are some frequently asked questions from our clients at Ritto Konan Law Office. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us by phone or through our inquiry form.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
I am not sure if my issue is something I should consult a lawyer at a law office about...
There is no need to worry about that at all. Please feel free to consult with our attorneys first. Even if you are unsure what the problem is, we will provide you with appropriate advice.
It is a family member's issue, not my own. May I still consult with you?
Absolutely. However, to make the consultation more productive, please bring any relevant documents or materials. Also, if we are to take on the case, the family member in question will need to come in person.
Can I get legal advice over the phone or by email?
We are unable to provide legal consultations by phone or email. We ask that you please visit our law office in person for all consultations.
I am busy on weekdays. Can I get a consultation on weekends or in the evening?
Our consultation hours are weekdays from 9:00 to 19:00 (until 18:00 on Wednesdays), and Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00.
I am worried about the costs being too high. Is it possible to pay in installments?
Please rest assured that we will explain the fees thoroughly in advance. Depending on your financial situation, we can also accommodate installment payments.
Will the details of my consultation be disclosed to outside parties?
Please rest assured that the contents of your consultation are strictly managed, and we will never disclose any information to outside parties without your consent.
What should I prepare for my first consultation?
To make the consultation as productive as possible, please bring any relevant documents (for example, if your consultation concerns debt, documents showing how much you owe and to whom; if it concerns inheritance, documents such as a will).
I do not want things to go as far as a lawsuit. Can I still get advice?
Of course. Consulting with a lawyer does not mean you have to file a lawsuit. By consulting with a lawyer, things can often be sorted out and resolved through the consultation alone, like untangling a knot. Please feel free to contact us first.
